Admissions
We are here to help.
We're here to love and care for children 24/7.
At Tipton Children’s Home, we understand that making the decision to place your child in a long-term care facility is never easy. That’s why we’re here to support you every step of the way. Our home provides 24/7 love and care for your child in a safe, nurturing environment. Unlike boarding schools, Tipton Children’s Home is a long-term residential care facility where we partner with you to ensure the best possible care for your child. Placement at Tipton Children's Home is entirely voluntary, and you retain all parental rights throughout your child’s stay. We are dedicated to working alongside parents to provide the stability and support your child needs. We welcome children between the ages of 5 and 18 who are in need of a stable, loving home.
Specialized Care and Placement Criteria
At Tipton Children’s Home, our goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment for every child in our care. Due to the specialized care required for certain situations, we must be mindful of the needs and safety of all our residents. Unfortunately, we are unable to consider children for placement who are experiencing the following challenges:
- Addiction to drugs or alcohol
- History of sexual abuse towards others
- Diagnosed with psychotic disorders
- History of violence or criminal activity
- Questioning their gender identity
These criteria are in place to ensure that we can provide the appropriate care and maintain a safe environment for all children at Tipton.
