What do house parents do?
At Tipton Children’s Home, our house parents play a vital role in creating a nurturing and supportive environment for the children in our care. As a house parent, you will be responsible for the children's daily supervision, guidance, and care, ensuring that they feel safe, valued, and loved. This role involves overseeing the children's routines, including meals, homework, and recreational activities, while also providing emotional support and life skills training. House parents act as positive role models, helping to shape the character and development of each child. The position offers the unique opportunity to live on-site, becoming an integral part of the Tipton community, where you’ll work closely with other dedicated staff to foster a family-like atmosphere.

Salary
Our house parents are paid fairly for their work, so they can support themselves while supporting our children.

Our house parents live on-site, providing full-time care and support to the children in their cottages.
