At Tipton Children’s Home, we understand that choosing the right place for your child is one of the most important decisions you’ll ever make. Our campus in southwest Oklahoma is more than just a place to live—it’s a community where children can grow, learn, and thrive in a safe and nurturing environment. We have room to play, alongside learning opportunities like 4H clubs.
A Safe and Secure Environment
Safety is our top priority. Located in Tornado Alley, our campus is equipped with reinforced safe rooms in every cottage, ensuring your child’s protection during severe weather. Each safe room is built with 8″ reinforced concrete, providing peace of mind to parents and caregivers alike. Additionally, our campus is secured with a well-maintained perimeter and monitored to ensure all our residents' safety.
A Home-Like Atmosphere
Our campus is designed to feel like home, with comfortable living spaces and a warm, welcoming environment. The cottages where our children live are modern, well-maintained, and filled with amenities that create a family-like setting. Each cottage has been thoughtfully named to honor those who have contributed to our mission, but more importantly, they serve as safe, loving homes where children are cared for by our dedicated house parents.
Outdoor Space
We believe in the importance of time spent playing! Our campus features mature trees and other open outdoor spaces. Children can enjoy our playground, a space designed for fun and safety, and relax in the gazebo located just east of the playground. These outdoor spaces encourage physical activity and an appreciation for the outdoors.
Modern Facility
While our campus is rich in history, we are committed to providing modern facilities that meet the needs of today’s children. We have spacious homes that more than shelter kids, but foster a real family environment. Our facilities are maintained meticulously to provide a safe and beautiful environment.
On-site activities
Our campus offers a variety of on-site activities designed to nurture each child's physical, emotional, and social development. There’s always something engaging for children to participate in. Our goal is to provide a balanced environment where children can thrive in every are of their lives.
